ABQ Futsal League Rules
Registration / Team Information:
- A $100 non-refundable deposit may be used to hold your position in the league, while paperwork is gathered
- Team packets will only be accepted if completed (proof of coaches registration, signed documents, pictures, proof of age, team registration fee)
- Refunds will not be permitted after packet is turned in
- Rosters will be solidified by 2nd week of play (no adding players, unless emergency; to be decided by ABQ Futsal Administration)
- A new registration form will be used for the upcoming summer session. All players must fill out this form
- Although player cards are good for 1 year (August 1st - July 31st), registration forms / waivers will need to be filled out and signed for each season
Game Schedules:
- Schedules will be posted online prior to 1st game. PLEASE VERIFY game schedule, as schedules may change the first week of play
- Schedule will not be changed after the 1st week. If you have a conflict please notify league scheduler prior to 2nd week
- Players will be checked in prior to game. Player’s cards MUST be given to referee for check-in procedure
- A substitute roster is available in the event that your team needs a substitute. The substitute must be on the roster in order to participate. In order to be placed on the substitute roster, please contact registrar Pancho 315-2296, or note on paperwork
- Albuquerque Futsal reserves the right to postpone or cancel games due to weather conditions or poor court/facility conditions. Games will be added on to the last week of regulation play
Tournaments:
- Tournament rosters (for teams that are split) must be set prior to 1st tournament game. Please email to registrar 1 week prior to 1st tournament game nmfutsal@yahoo.com
- Tournament formats may vary due to the numbers of teams in age group
- NO substitutes will be permitted during tournament play
- Unlike regular seasonal games , tournament games will NOT end in a tie

League Specific Rules:
- Goalkeepers cannot throw the ball past half way line during the goal clearance (National rule). The ball must bounce or contact a player before passing half way line. Penalty is the opposing team has a kick-in at the half way line
- The clock runs for the twenty minutes. The only stoppages are injuries, timeouts, and penalty kicks at the end of the half or game
- The game ends upon final whistle / buzzer. If a goal is scored after the buzzer, it will not be allowed
- Each team will be given 5 minutes for warm up prior to game
- Halftime is 3 minutes
